No. PropertySmarts is moving to a new platform. The current version will remain available during the transition and close on 10 December 2026.

PropertySmarts has supported members for more than a decade. REINZ is investing in a modern platform that better reflects how members work today, while continuing to draw on the REINZ property data you know and trust.

The new platform is designed to make CMA creation easier, with AI support to help you work faster. You’ll be able to start or continue a CMA across mobile, tablet, laptop and desktop devices, collaborate with a colleague in real time, and draw your own search area when choosing comparable properties. More flexible presentation options will help you shape each CMA to suit the property and your client.

Launch is planned for October 2026. We’re finalising the timing and will share the confirmed date and next steps soon.

Future pricing or subscription terms have not been announced. REINZ will communicate any confirmed changes directly to members before they take effect.

You can continue using the current version as usual. As we get closer to launch, we’ll explain how to prepare and move to the new platform. If you have historical CMAs you need to retain, you’ll need to save them in your agency’s approved location before 10 December.

and locations, have helped shape the new platform by testing the CMA workflow and providing feedback.

Yes. Once the new platform becomes available in October, you can choose when to move during the transition period. The current version will remain available until 10 December, giving you time to prepare and become familiar with the new platform.

The current version of PropertySmarts will close on 10 December 2026. From then, you’ll use the new platform to create CMAs. Save any historical CMAs you need to retain before that date.

REINZ will provide how-to resources, FAQs and drop-in Q&A sessions to help you get started. Agency administrators and nominated champions will receive additional guidance to help support their teams.

Agencies should confirm who needs access, check account and branch details, complete any required IT setup, and plan how to retain historical CMAs. We’re also asking agencies to nominate a champion who can help their team prepare and answer common questions.

REINZ Companion will be the main channel for key dates, preparation steps, support information and important service updates. We’ll also use email, SMS and agency communications where needed.
